Disposable masks – surgical and FFP2/FFP3 filtering – are among the most frequently used PPE items in medical facilities. Proper storage and dispensing requires a unit matched to the packaging format in use. MedicLine offers wall-mounted INOX mask dispensers in two sizes: 392 mm and 517 mm.
392 mm Format – Standard for Most Facilities
The 392 mm frame is compatible with 50-piece and 100-piece mask boxes from major manufacturers (external width ~340–365 mm). Fits:
- Surgical masks (Type II and IIR) – 50-piece box, width ~345 mm,
- Flat-folded FFP2 masks – 25–30-piece box, width ~350 mm,
- Reusable fabric masks in sealed packaging – width up to 370 mm.
517 mm Format – For Larger Packaging
The 517 mm dispenser is intended for non-standard or larger packages:
- FFP3 masks in rigid boxes (width ~480–500 mm),
- Large bulk surgical mask packs (200 pcs),
- Masks with nose wire clips and metal adjusters.
ESS vs ES for Masks
The ESS series (with PETG shield) is recommended for FFP2 and FFP3 masks in sterile zones – it protects mask filters from disinfectant aerosol condensation. The ES series (open) is sufficient for reception areas, corridors and office zones.
Installation and Maintenance
Both sizes mount on 2 wall plugs – identical installation scheme. Box replacement: under 10 seconds, no tools required. Recommended weekly wiping of the INOX surface with an alcohol or QAC-based disinfectant.
