In short
SecuBox is the German line of wall-mounted PPE containers from GEBRA, with 5 models — Mini, Midi, Maxi, Midi-4 and Maxi-12 — covering 6 PPE categories (gloves, masks, caps, safety glasses, helmets, hearing protection). Two front colours (blue / transparent), 40+ OHS pictograms, durable HDPE housing. Compliant with EU Directive 2010/32. Standard equipment in hospitals, laboratories, production halls, warehouses, construction sites and food plants. Prices from 17 EUR net (Mini) to 173 EUR net (Maxi-12 transparent). A JCI auditor walks down the surgical ward corridor. He stops at the footwear airlock. "Where is your organised eye, hearing and hand protection for staff? Show me." The ward manager leads the auditor 6 metres further. On the corridor wall, in a single line: SecuBox Mini with ear plugs, Midi with caps, Maxi with gowns and Maxi-12 with 12 pairs of safety glasses — with name labels for the on-call surgeons. The auditor takes a picture, marks the point in the protocol as "compliant — exemplary", moves on. What was just checked is the penultimate point of the accreditation standard. The whole procedure took 30 seconds.
PPE containers are the facility equipment item that 100% of the time is evaluated by an auditor — but 80% of the time is not planned as a coherent system. A plastic basket, a cardboard box, a drawer in the nurses' office — all these "improvised solutions" become a problem in one specific moment: when someone external comes in to evaluate them. The SecuBox line was created so that this moment is not stressful — so that it is routine. This article is for the person — OHS coordinator, quality lead, medical director — who designs PPE storage across the whole facility, not just one office. We will show: 5 SecuBox models, who each is for, the per-sector selection map, and the full-line presentation video — so the purchasing decision takes 10 minutes, not 10 hours.

5 models — for 6 PPE categories
SecuBox Mini
The smallest item in the line. Ideal for small PPE: ear plugs, FFP masks in single sachets, single-use earmuffs, sterile caps in pouches. Wall-mount at each individual workstation.
SecuBox Midi
The medium-capacity standard. Holds surgical masks (50–100 pcs), caps in a box, one pack of nitrile gloves. Wall-mount at office entrances, nurses' stations, production halls.
SecuBox Maxi
The largest single-compartment unit — for disposable gowns, safety helmets, noise earmuffs, larger PPE kits. Standard at production halls, warehouses and chemical plant OHS zones.
SecuBox Midi-4
Specialist station for 4 pairs of safety glasses. Ideal for small teams (4-person lab shift, dental office, clinic reception). Each pair separately, name labels, no swap risk.
SecuBox Maxi-12
The flagship station for 12 pairs of safety glasses — standard (for visitors) or prescription (for staff). Standard in operating theatres, IVF, sterile compounding, 12-person halls. Full article on Maxi-12 →

Why SecuBox is today the standard, not the option
Seven reasons why the SecuBox line is a must-have in facility equipment:
- Accreditation audit (JCI, ISO 13485, ISO 15189, GMP). The auditor always asks where PPE is stored. A wall-mounted system with pictograms and colour coding = the standard answer, a plastic basket = a remark in the report.
- EU Directive 2010/32. Requires staff exposure prevention. PPE must be actually available — meaning on the wall, within reach, with a pictogram, not in a drawer.
- Visual coherence of the facility. 6 models, 2 colours, one manufacturer — the whole building shows that a system exists, not a collection of improvisations.
- Hygiene. HDPE resistant to the full hospital disinfection range (alcohol, QAC, low-concentration chlorine). No bacterial niches in cracks like in wooden drawers.
- Operational time. Fixed position = 0 seconds searching. For a 12-person shift that is 25 minutes a day recovered.
- Scalability. A small clinic starts with 2 Mini + 1 Midi (~94 EUR net). A regional hospital configures 80–120 SecuBox per floor. Same system, different scale.
- Image in front of the guest / patient. An investor, auditor, board member sees in the first 30 seconds of a visit whether the facility is "modern" or "kitted out with shopping baskets".
Decision: necessity, not choice
If your facility represents the medical, laboratory, pharmaceutical or industrial sector with staff exposure to biological / chemical / mechanical factors — the question is not whether to buy SecuBox, but in what configuration. We start from a map of wards and shift sizes — we end with a concrete list of models per workstation.
