The wall-mounted glove box holder is one of the most frequently deployed products in medical facilities, laboratories and production plants. This article provides a detailed overview of the construction, variants and practical applications of the INOX glove holder – models ESS03M and ES03M in sizes S, M and L. Below is a presentation video of the 1-box variant (ES03M / ESS03M).

Construction of the INOX Glove Holder
The MedicLine INOX glove box holder is a metal frame made from 1.4301 (AISI 304) stainless steel. Core elements:
- Carrier frame – rectangular with profiled edges eliminating scratch risk. Available in 392 mm (standard) or 517 mm (for larger boxes).
- Box support – profiled steel bracket holding the glove carton in vertical or horizontal position.
- Extraction handle – allows one-handed extraction of a single glove without touching the frame.
- Wall fixing – number of mounting holes depends on the variant and frame height: ES01HS001 (small single-box, 250×132×75 mm) = 2 holes, 392 mm series = 3 holes (2 upper + 1 centre below), 517 mm series = 4 holes (3 upper + 1 lower below). M5 / ø6 mm wall anchors included. Optional: system rail for connecting multiple dispensers.
- Shield (ESS series) – transparent PETG cover protecting gloves from external contamination.
Size and Series Variants
- 392 mm – matches standard glove boxes (100 pcs) with external width ~350–360 mm. Fits S, M, L gloves from major manufacturers (Semperguard, Ansell, Kimberly-Clark).
- 517 mm – for non-standard or larger packaging. Used when the facility uses boxes with non-standard dimensions.
When ordering, always verify your glove box dimensions. The box's external width should be 10–20 mm smaller than the dispenser frame dimension.
ESS vs ES – When to Choose a Shield?
The ESS series (with shield) is recommended when: the dispenser is in a zone where aerosol disinfectants are regularly used – the shield protects gloves from alcohol saturation; dust protection is required; or accreditation guidelines require shielding of PPE from pre-use contamination.
The ES series (without shield) is sufficient for: office rooms, reception desks, general corridors; procedure rooms with low aerosol risk; industrial applications where cost takes priority.
Installation and Service
Installation takes approximately 5 minutes. Required: drill, ø6 mm bit, wall plugs, screwdriver. Available with installation instructions and fixing kit. Service is limited to weekly wiping with an alcohol or QAC cloth; glove box replacement when empty (under 10 seconds, no tools); and an annual check of fixing elements. Service life: over 15 years with correct maintenance.
